Jack came to Philadelphia from New York in 1976 to attend college at Temple University. While in college he was an active member of Campus Crusade and he came to the Lord under their ministry in 1979 and was subsequently baptized in 1981. When he moved to Manayunk in 1982 he became a member of Church of the Living Saviour. Jack was ordained to the ministry in 1993 and has been serving the Lord at Church of the Living Saviour since then.

Jack and Donna, who married in 1992 have three grandchildren.

Jack is the President of the Chaplaincy program at the 5th Police District in Roxborough, an active member of the Northwest Christian Alliance, and the Ridge Park Civic Association.

After turning his life over to the saving mercies of the Lord Jesus Christ in 1950 and subsequently receiving degrees from Westminster Seminary and the University of Pennsylvania , Paul G. Humber was ordained in May of 1973. He has served as pastor in various locations and has also taught on the faculties of the University of Phoenix , the Haverford School , Rutgers University ( Camden ), Abington High School , and the University of Pennsylvania (Dept. of Human Resources).

Paul has been promoting Christian Released Time in Philadelphia since 2002, with approximately 20 public schools in and around Philadelphia having become involved over the years. These efforts have been affirmed by WORLD magazine and The Philadelphia Inquirer.

He is also the author/editor of various publications, including Evolution Exposed (a book), Jehovah Jesus (a book), Reasons to Reject Evolution (a booklet), and Reasons to Affirm a Young Earth (a booklet). Many articles of his may be found on the Internet by "googling" his name.

He is the father of three children and grandfather of eight.
